Entertain! {+ giveaway}

When it comes to hosting a family lunch or a dinner party with friends, we (or should I say, me) tend to be completely stressed out and flustered - preparing and cooking while everyone else is enjoying themselves.

Australian Good Taste’s brilliant new book Entertain! takes the stress out of dinner party planning. Entertain! features fool proof, tried and tested recipes, creating the ultimate A – Z of menus for all occasions.

Michelle Southan, Food Editor of Australian Good Taste, says that “The key to a successful dinner party is to keep it stress free. Choose recipes with can be prepared ahead of the event, so that you can relax and enjoy the day along with everyone else.”

This is where Entertain! comes in. The menu plans are done for you and many of the recipes can be made ahead of time.

Not only does Entertain! offer menus – it offers menus for any occasion. Here are just a few:

Christmas Lunch

A weekend retreat

Mediterranean Feast

Chinese Banquet

Tuscan Table

and so many, many, many more…

I’ve been flicking through my review copy of Entertain! and for me personally, I think Entertain! is a fantastic cook book. It has lots of great pictures and easy to read, step by step instructions. Is there anything worse than a cook book with no big glossy colour pictures?

Here is some of the yumminess which has caught my eye.

Gazelle Horns – something I’d never heard of, but look forward to making one day soon.

Gazelle Horns

Broad Beans and Paella – these are foods that I grew up eating at my parents home.

Mediterranean Feast

Hazelnut torta with Frangelico orange cake – YUM!
