The Jungle Book (Vol 1) – GIVEAWAY

In the jungle, the mighty jungle, something stirs tonight… and it will leave your children laughing. ABC has released its modern version of Ruddard Kiplings the Jungle book stories on DVD.

Jungle Book 1

New state of the art DVD animation brings the story of Mowgli, the man cub lost in the jungle to life. Enjoy his adventures as he explores the Seeone Indian Jungle with his four pawed friends such as Baloo the hysterical wise bear, Bagheera the loyal black panther and Mowgli’s (sometimes!) rock python mate, the mighty Kaa.

These are stories your children will want to watch over and over again.  It certainly kept my little ones quiet when the sunshine outside had turned to rain.

Classification: G (General)
Genre: Family
SRP Price: $19.95, 6 x 11 minutes episodes on 1 DVD

The generous people at Universal pictures have given me a copy of The Jungle Book – Season 1, to give away.

  1. Wow! The characters look different to the original version which I loved so much my primary school choir did excerpts from the musical one year! (The following year we did "Mary Poppins" and the year after that "The Wizard of Oz")

The Wiggles are #1 with Older Grandson. Playschool is gaining in popularity too!

  5. I am not a Australian citizen so not participating in the give away. Jungle Book was the first movie i saw at the cinema. I think i was about 8. Cried my eyes out when Mowgli got lost and the vultures made fun of him. I can still sing along with most songs out of that movie LOL

  9. I haven't any children per se but a DH (ok, me too) we just gape like little kids at the amazing stories and neat children's shows from time to time...they are so pretty and thoughfully put together (some are better than others of course) but it is fun to be 5 again and enjoy the view.

  10. My children loved Play Scool and Sesame Street. When they were little there was not as many great kids shows as there are now.
