Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs - Review and Giveaway

Snow White had it all. Good looks, a handsome prince, seven dwarfs and ofcourse the evil step mother... what more could a girl want? Right? Growing up, I loved Snow White.

Thanks to the lovely people at AMB, Porter Novelli and Disney, I have been given the opportunity to relive this classic and share it with my children.

It's the one that started it all, alive with magic, suspense and adventure, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has been entertaining children, families and movie goers across the world for decades as Walt Disney's first ever feature animated film.

The time-honoured story begins with the beautiful Snow White dreaming of her handsome prince, while her evil stepmother the Queen is obsessed with being the fairest in the land. However when her magic mirror identifies Snow White as the fairest of them all, the Queen sends the huntsman to kill the young princess.

Fleeing into the forest, Snow White takes refuge in an enchanted cottage where she meets seven lovable dwarfs – Dopey, Sleepy, Sneezy, Bashful, Happy, Doc and Grumpy.

However, the jealous Queen soon discovers Snow White is still alive. Disguising herself as an old woman, the Queen presents Snow White with a poison, shiny, red apple which, with just one bite, makes her fall into a deep sleep, which can only be broken by her true love‟s kiss.

Luckily Prince Charming finds his Princess and they  "live happily ever after".

Ahhhh... don't you love it. The perfect fairy tale which ends happily ever after. My daughter has seen this film numerous times. She is the next generation of Disney lover, but I'm so pleased that she likes the older Disney films too.

Now for the fun part. I have a Diamond Edition Blu Ray & DVD pack to giveaway.

  13. Disney studios are probably responsible for helping me learn to appreciate colour. I recall sitting mesmerised and just drinking in the rich,jewel-like combinations and thoroughly enjoyed the music and stories as well. The film Snow White was no exception. All her little friends and rescuers are completely lovable and adorable, even Grumpy. I saw through his mask...underneath he has a heart of gold.
