Rubbermaid Reveal Mop Review + Giveaway

I'm one of those strange people who doesn't mind mopping the floor. I'm not saying it's my favourite thing to do, but as far as household chores go, it is one of my preferred.

So, in saying this, I'm super excited to have received a Rubbermaid Reveal Mop to review.

The Reveal mop is fantastic. The first thing which you need to know is that it doesn't need a bucket. Yes, it's true - no bucket required. Just fill the bottle with hot water and some floor cleaner and it's ready to go.

Pull on the trigger, it sprays and you mop. So simple. So EASY!

It has a swivel head which is great for getting around and under furniture. I can now reach those areas which are usually missed. The website says that the Reveal picks up 50% more dirt and dust per swipe than traditional mops.

When you're done, just remove the microfibre head and throw it in the washing machine.  EASY! It's reusable so you don't have go spending money on extra heads.

This mop is available at selected Bunnings Stores in Australia and the RRP is $39.99. In my opinion, I think it is totally worth the money.

Have a look at the new Australian Rubbermaid website for more details HERE.

Rubbermaid is also on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/TheOrganisedHome

  1. I don't mind mopping! But I really enjoy hanging out washing, I am very particular! If it is hung right there will be no ironing!

  2. I am a humble follower and I would say my favourite household chore is mowing! Yes, an hour and a half on the ride on, one hour hand mowing, weeding, brush cutting etc, etc, etc. Love the smell of fresh cut grass in the morning.

  3. saw these while i was in the US they were just THE best thing since sliced bread. Not that i desperately want a mop right now but i am moving soon so should probably invest in cleaning supplies so....my fav (cough cough) household chore is...doing the dishes. I like being able to have it all sorted. The dirtys on the left and the clean on the right, all stacked and ready to go and i love love love the clean shiny bench at the end of it

  4. I think my favourite chore is ironing... maybe it's because I can pretend I'm sewing instead of doing a chore? Or maybe it's just that to do the ironing I'm in my sewing room (that's where the ironing board has lived all my life).

If I win, do you want to come over and mop my floor? ;) LOL

  5. I don't want to take part in the give away (since I live in Singapore) but I just thought I let you know that my favorite chore (that's not including cooking or baking) would be cleaning the bathroom! And my worst is ironing.

  8. I hate all kinds of housework, but I think I like sweeping the floor the most, it is amazing how much "stuff" gets there even in a day with 2 kids running through the house! And how good would it be to follow up the sweeping with a mop like that!

  9. I am a follower. My least hated chore is wiping down the kitchen benches. The kitchen looks really shiny and neat and I feel like whole house is done! I think that using a mop where I didn't have to lug a bucket around would be pretty good too.

  10. I like vaccuuming. I love how a gritty floor is all of a sudden crumb free and nice to walk on again, so rewarding for the effort. Second fav is a newly mopped floor and I am looking for a new and GREAT mop right now!

  22. I am a follower already. The mop is exactly what I would need. I hate filling up the bucket and dragging it around the house. My favourite chore is ironing. I get to listen to my audiobooks at the same time so I feel like I can get two things done at the same time.

  23. I would have to say Spring Cleaning is my favourite thing to do. To roll up the sleeves and move everything out from the walls and clean up all the dust that normally hides under the bed and behind all the furniture. Scrub the window tracks and suck up all the flys that seem to die there. Go through the kitchen cupboarda and find all the appliances that you have not used since last years clean.

I thought I hated ironing, and I did until I started quilting, now I like it quite a lot. As I press each fabric after washing it I think what it might look good as. When I need fabric for a particular project I often remember which ones I thought would suit and the selection is easy then.
