Bee block - complete!

I've joined my first online quilting bee and we're all an eager bunch and have received our January fabrics. Half the group have already made and posted their blocks, so I thought I'd make mine today while I had some free time.

It is for Emma in the U.S. She sent a variety of spotty fabrics in red, white, black and grey and I absolutely love them.

Here's what I made for her:

A little bit mod and little bit wonky. I hope she likes it :-)

I also wanted to thank Clare of Clare's Craftroom for the wonderful package I received in the mail this week. These FQ's are gorgeous and the pattern is soooooooooooo cute!!! Thank you so much Clare.

  3. I LOVE this block. I'm making a red, black, white, and gray quilt for my sister and this style of block and fabric combo would look great in it!

  4. Super great block! Thanks for linking!

  5. What a great block, the finished quilt will be amazing in those great fabrics.
