Charming Nest

... here's a quick peak at my new quilt which I'm calling 'Charming Nest'.

It's made with a charm pack of "Nest" by Tula Pink.

Now to decide on the backing...

Also, how to go about quilting it?  Straight lines or a FMQ meandering pattern. What do you suggest?

  1. Straight lines but maybe unevenly spaced.

  2. I love the simplicity of this quilt. Nest was such a great range!! I'm not confident with quilting designs so I'm going to sit that question out and see what everyone else says. Whatever you choose this will be another stunning quilt.

  3. I really like how that came together. I don't know what FMQ means. =( So I can't really help there...but I will look forward to seeing it finished. =)

  4. Straight lines I think but I would agree with Suzanne's comment - unevenly spaced

  5. I think I would go with the straight lines too. It is geometric and I think anything other than straight lines would spoil it.

  6. I forgot to say that I think it's beautiful.

  7. Beautiful fabrics:)
Well I am going to be different ... FMQ [I know how you love it:)] on the white borders; I think the colours would stand out even more.

  8. I just need a little explanation, would anyone care to elaborate on the last comment?
Dear Moderator, I hope you don't delete my post. I mean no harm, just being weird.
There once was a time when I blogged about this stuff like crazy. Not many people came to my blogs.
I'm a little slow, please don't remove my comments or I will get upset.

Whatever you delete today, you desperately need tomorrow.
